Family Book Creator Settings File

Do you like the layout and structure of my family books? Would you like to recreate it? Download my settings file for Family Book Creator for a quick shortcut.

Once downloaded, unzip the file (“Extract All” in Windows Explorer). Then in Family Book Creator, go to the Preferences tab. First, click the “Save Settings” button in the lower left corner, to be able to return to your existing settings in the future.

Then, click the “Load Settings” button in the bottom left corner and navigate to the downloaded file. FBC will immediately adjust all settings to match those that I use in my books. See page 111 of Leaving a Legacy for details.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a file you can open and see after downloading. This is a file that you will load into FBC, using the directions above.
